I don’t know what to call a cloth this small other than a hand towel or a washcloth. DEFINITELY NOT A BLANKET, not even for a baby.. but with how unsafe this is to operate, using it around a baby should constitute as child abuse or even attempted murder seeing as the product gets so hot it melts itself.It took a very long time to get my order.. This is not a "blanket". It barely covers my shoulders. It gets so hot I'm worried it will catch fire! And it smells horrible the whole time it's plugged in. Do not buy.UPDATE:THE INSIDE OF THE POCKET MELTED AND STUCK TOGETHER WHILE I WAS SLEEPING!! In the pic is the other side of where it heats up. It almost caught on fire. You people who made it need to recall this!Only the hand warmer portion of the blanket is heated by a small 5 by 10 panel.. The whole blanket is soft as advertised but not heated.It is nothing like what was described and definitely not worth any price.It don't workI received this as a gift & was really excited. After opening the package I saw that this wasn't nearly large enough to be considered a blanket. I'm 5'5 and this is just big enough to cover my shoulders and chest. The pocket is a nice feature, but it's the only thing that has a heating element. Not to mention, the heating pad (black square in photo) didn't get as warm as I wanted. I could've heated a bag of water and got more warmth than this! There's also no way to control the heat. However hot it gets is just what you have to deal with. It's a decent heating pad, but for this price, I would've expected it to at least natch the description and provide decent heat.I thought this was a small heated blanket I was going to use for my cats. The only thing heated is the hands pouch.I like the overall size however, I was disappointed that the heating element is only under the hand pocket. I wish that it was over the entire pad. It still does an okay job at my desk at work.
