What make me bought this fireplace at first was the pictures showing very bright and high flames but when I received it I was extremely disappointed. I thought the fireplace was damaged so I asked for an exchange which was a little better than the first one but nothing to compare with the pictures you can see on Amazon's website. Take a look at what it really looks like in total darkness so during daylight you can barely see anything. Plus, it says adjustable color yes you can change the color separately for the flames or the bottom where are the crystal rocks, it works fine but adjustable brightness NOPE. As for the remote control I tried it with both fireplaces still did not work at all. For the heat it works but to make a room of 210 Sq. ft. warm, it will take quite some time at least 4 hours. I tried room was at 62 degrees F. and I wanted up to 65 degrees F. For the design, size and thickness of the fireplace itself it is looks pretty good. Overall expensive $245 ! But I keep it as artwork. I have put inside a sticker with a flame and use only the LED lights at the bottom now, since I did not need it as radiator.I wish it looked like the picture. It was cheap looking and looked nothing like a fireplace. It came with plastic logs instead of rocks. I bought it because of the remote and the remote didn't work.
