I wanted a silver bike and received a black bike. I researched e bikes and decided on this one. It’s smooth, easy to use and it is fun. I do not dislike anything this far. I now have my husband buying one because he likes mine so much.Bike is fast, feels pretty well built and the range is pretty impressive. I’m using this bike as my primary means of transportation to work and it’s about 19 miles each way. On pedal assist 3 I average 18-20mph and will have enough battery to make it there and back. On pedal assist 5 you will hit over 30 going down hill but obviously drain the battery much quicker. The 70-90 mile range listed is definitely possible on pedal assist 1 or 2 so unless your rushing to work like me and have a constant need for speed, pedal assist 2 is honestly a good speed. You’ll cruise at around 14mph on PAS 2. The bike was pretty much fully built as well which was nice because im terrible at putting bikes together. Only things you need to attach are the front wheel, the front fender, the seat and the kickstand. Make sure you tighten those things well because I almost lost the kickstand and fender( my fault ). Overall very pleased and my coworker might get rid of a different brand e bike he has for this one. Battery does charge to 80% in a few hours and a full 100% charge does take about 6 hours.Pros-very fast-well built-good batteryCons-stability can get sketchy at 28-30mph-your not actually pedaling after PAS 3 because your going fast so I will be changing the teeth on the rotor but this is just for my preferenceOverall really pleased and would buy another bike from this companySo, I've had this bike for almost 3 weeks now, but I've only been able to ride twice due to work. Right away I was happy with the power and immediately tested the thumb throttle top speed which was almost 30 on flat ground. You can pedal sanely through peddle assist 3, but 4 begins to get ridiculous and 5 is just mad; that is the only way to get over 30mph though, i've got up to 33 with a generous wind at my back. I have not gotten around to checking whether or not the speed can be increased in settings but I feel the bike has more power than its top speed suggest, I did like 24 in peddle assist 4 into a 20mph wind going slightly uphill. I very rarely peddle now and after 25 miles of throttle only the battery display shows about 60 percent. Assembly took about an hour and a half, mostly unboxing and breaking up that giant box; also would have been faster and easier if I had gotten a hand. I got it for the early $999 price and with this motor and battery size I can't complain this was a great deal. However i will say the display could be better, would be nice to have numbers rather than bars for battery and password protection, but i will buy a new display. Overall I feel like it punches above its weight for its price class.I will only comment on the delivery and quality of the product received as I have only had the bike a couple of days now. I live in AZ and the bike shipped out of CA. The bike arrived in about 3 days, much quicker than the quoted 7-10 days. The package, a large box was quite well packed with no loose parts floating around. The bike assembly was very straightforward for anyone with a little mechanical ability and the manual with it's color photos would be an asset to anyone who needed it. The bike it's self is well appointed for about a $1000 and the performance in the 10 miles I have put on it met or exceeded my expectations. I did have to small issues, I reached out to customer service about, I did not receive a manual for the display and the headlight had a problem. Customer service answered my email in about 24 hours and provided me with good resolutions. ( Update ) Since my original review, I've put a few more miles on the bike and continue to be impressed. I have raised the stars given from 4 to 5 ..... fun stars are off the chart.After several weeks of riding, the bike held up pretty good. The maximum speed is as advertised 28 MPH but the range and weight are greatly exaggerated. The brakes are firmed but squeaky. The seat at its lowest setting is still too high for 5'5" person. After 3 tests ride for range, I was only getting 36 miles max with PAS 1-2 on each full charge. First charge only got 25 miles with PAS 4-5. All my ridings are on flat road. When contact customer service regarding the range, they said it's normal range is 36 miles. So 45-60 miles is not attainable as advertised. The weight of the bike is also not accurate as it weigh 66 lbs not 56 lbs as advertised. I'm 204lbs & I had no limitations. Zipping up steep hills of NYC on a Cold 32 degrees Windy day still reaching top speed. U can literally feel the power . Jumping off Curbs maneuvering thru traffic racing cars & other bikes in my head. I'm good with this purchase.Also the Headlight & Taillight work.Love this bike, but the gearing was all wrong. At 15 MPH you couldn't pedal fast enough to keep up. I'm one of those people who like to get a bit of exercise along with help on the steep grades, I live in Colorado. Any way I change the crank gearing to a Lasco 56T and it made all the difference.
