These bikes would be good value without suspension or the folding capability. With them, they are great value. Everything works as expected for an inexpensive bike. The components and overall build quality are better than expected. They are a small frame bike however, so bigger riders won't fit well. There are a lot of these electric bicycles on the market, so after evaluating the products in customer reviews I chose this one for the features and the price. I am glad I made the choice. The only con I found was the seat and I just replaced it with a more comfortable one I had from a previously owned bicycle. Reviews commented on the seat issue, but I was prepared to replace it.I've only used the folding function twice and it is a good feature when transporting the bicycle inside a vehicle with limited cargo space. The battery so far has held up to multiple full charging cycles and it does last about 15 to 20 miles of full battery assistance, which I never do, so I only charge it after running about 50 to 80 miles. The feature I enjoy the most is running it under the low assist mode. Helps you keep a constant speed without exhausting effort. Its a sturdy mountain bike. It folds and is impossible for me to put into car alone--Too heavy (>60 lbs). Has nearly straight handle bar--i need swept back bar. Rises little--i need more rise. Hard seat hurts my prostate--I need a softer saddle. Electronics work fine. Small battery lasts till I'm worked out. Shifts precisely. Handle grips offer little comfort. It's not returnable but Amazon has A to Z guarantee with supplier (Commors). My first attempt to return it resulted in Commors sending me permission to ship it back to China at my own expense!I need a touring cruiser type ebike. I need swept back higher rising handlebar. I need a soft prostate-sparing saddle. But it's probably a good mountain bike! 3 x 7 gearing! Shifts precisely. I like the front and back springs. I bought a wider, softer sprung saddle. I bought a rear view mirror.I bought this bike for my father as I found it's one of the most senior friendly bikes online. Among that list, this bike is probably one of the most affordable. My father is almost 80 and he really likes the bike. He managed to assemble it himself and is riding it daily now. Here are the feedbacks that I got from him after 3 months:he likes:- easy to assemble;- being electric powered really helps since it's hard for him when there are road segments going uphills;- easy to manipulate.he doesn't like:- no water bottle rack;- the seat is to hard for him. This bike is a solid, reliable bike. I would not take it on a big-time mountain bike trail but that is not why I purchased it. I wanted a bike to take on business travel for casual riding and a little offroad riding. This bike fits perfectly. Easy to unfold an put back together. The power is solid and gives a solid boost. I am not sure of the distance it will go on a charge, I plan to test that someday. It rides a little "hard" for a full-suspension bike. I need to look at the suspension and see what can be adjusted.I'm so disappointed. I researched ebikes so carefully and read reviews so thoroughly and was super excited to get my bike, but it's not what I had hoped for at all. First of all, I'm 5'9" and even though the reviews quoted people over 6' who said the bike is comfortable for them, it isn't at all. The seat at its highest setting is too short and the handlebars are set too low. This is a bike for short people. So I would have to find extensions for both the bike and the handlebars to make the ride comfortable. The full throttle setting doesn't work. It will give you little bursts of power but not a full throttle. The folding only folds part way. Worst of all, the Amazon site says, "returns valid until July 26", but when you look deeper, the site says no returns are allowed. So now I have a bike that I can't ride and I can't return. It's my own fault for trusting reviews and for not checking into the return policy more carefully. I hope I've learned my lesson.Update: I was able to contact the seller and was pleased that I was able to return the bike. So although the bike was disappointing, the customer service was good. This is my first e-bike. Didn't want to spend $1500+ yet as I am new to this. the package came as 80% assembled. To complete the remaining assembling tasks is a medium size job. The guide was not the best, to be honest. It also requires some fine tuning after being assembled, as with any other bike. I have no complain of the bike itself, but again, the user guide can be better, especially on the operations.Had not ridden a bicycle in many years but wanted to try again. Researched many ebikes and went with this one and couldn't be more pleased. Assembly was mostly easy and adjusting handlebars and seat was easy. Riding an hour several days a week and loving it. Could not spend thousands on a bike so this is the most bike for the cost. Combination of e-assist and 21 gears make riding on any terrain a delight.
