KUPPET 25.3" WiFi Electric Fireplace Insert with Alexa & Remote Control - Recessed Retro Fireplace Heater for Living Room, Bedroom & Office Warmth

I love this fireplace. It was so easy to install, it works well with Alexa (to turn on or off at least), but the TuyaSmart app works very well. I don't think the skills integration with Alexa is fully baked.Change the colors to match the mood, turn the heat up on those chilly evenings, curl up and watch a movie. It warms up my 400 Sq foot family room quite nicely, even too much sometimes so have to turn down the heat level. Unfortunately there are only 2 heat settings. Low or High. We keep it on low most of the time and that is more than enough. You can turn the heat off and keep the flames on for the affect.I sprinkled a few of the glass crystals over the logs for a different, sparkly affect.Wife likes it, so that's all that matters.It warms up a nice size master bedroom, it's a good size fireplace and love the screen for fire decorativePurchased the 50" fireplace last December and it has been amazing. Just what I was looking for and wanted. Customer service is great too! :-)We had to request a return of the 50" Kuppet fireplace because 3 of the log colors only illuminated half way across the log and the touch screen did not work. To their credit, the supplier immediately accepted the return, but in their email stated the this unit 'does not have touch screen"..... Even though it says it does in several places on their listing and it still says that currently.... They also offered an discount of an unstated amount if I would keep the unit.... We asked for 50% refund. They declined.... We asked if the replacement would have touch screen as the listing says. They apparently were not confident in the product and decided to refund our money instead of replacing it, which they did quickly ...... The unit looks good and on the surface seems a very good value. It is $70 to $100 cheaper than anything close to the same as this unit....... I would be concerned about quality of the internal parts and any warranty or future repairs if needed....... We gave the unit 2 stars, and would give the supplier 3-4 stars for their response (would give them 4-5 if the listing was changed reflected what they said about it not having a touch screen)I think the fireplace looks great. Installed in wall. Has an app for control and works with Amazon Alexa. Not much heat, but that is the limitation with all plug in electric heaters.This product does provide the basic functions of being an electric heater. The quality seems good, and the heat does work. The flames look nice, and it's overall a great design. My biggest issue is that the manufacturer falsely claims this unit is a TOUCH SCREEN unit. There is ZERO part of this fireplace that is anywhere close to a touchscreen application. I didn't read the reviews far enough to see this issue creeping up and assumed the manufacturer was accurately portraying their products. Of course, I wouldn't realize it until all the packaging was tossed. I emailed the seller and got support typical of a no-named reseller with a "custom service" agent who clearly doesn't speak English: "sorry to make you confuse", "this touch button unit"....yeah, the REMOTE is push button. I will be emailing Amazon about this sale and interaction with the seller.If you're looking for a TOUCH SCREEN UNIT, this is NOT it. If you're okay without the touch screen, the unit seems to do the job.
