First, the photo does not do this buckle justice. When you see it in person, and especially when you wear it, the buckle does not have that shiny "ruby red" color. It's more like "redwood," and it really looks great! Next, on the blue guitar head buckle (which I also own) and is also available on Amazon, the tuning pegs are all "flat." They are perfectly aligned with the flat face of the buckle. And that's fine. I was happy with that. But the pegs on this red buckle are in different positions of "tuning," just like the pegs on a real guitar head. It is a subtle improvement over the blue buckle, but one which I really appreciate!If you play a guitar, and you would like to wear an attractive and classy looking buckle to quietly but effectively announce yourself as a guitarist, I recommend this buckle.
