great help , very nice design egronomic and battery life sis amazingI needed some kind of help to assist with recovering from neck surgery. After insurance coverage my cost was over $600. I feel like it's helping a lotThis was easy to use and works well. The third setting is my favorite with the heat turned up.I made dinner while wearing it, and that was nice!I haven’t had sciatica pain since I’ve had it, but next time I have a flair up, I’m happy to have this to try to help with it!It not worth any penny I don’t like it at allNada q ver con lo q pence se le acaba rápido la pilla y no tiene potensiaI seem to have lots of age-related aches and pains these days. I saw this Alphay Intelligent Neck Massager in my Vine listing and decided to give it a try. As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I am offered new-to-market products, if I want them, at no cost to me, in exchange for an honest, objective, and comprehensive review..The packaging is very professional-looking, as is the product itself. It looks and feels like a quality neck massager. However, it loses 1 Star for the archaic Micro-USB charging connection!I must have missed it when I reviewed the product information before ordering, but there are also two wing-shaped pads included, with cables, that can be connected to the main neck unit and used elsewhere around the body, like a true TENS unit..After reading the instructions, I dampened my neck and the electrode pads with a damp face cloth, rather than use the included small water spray bottle and put on the massager, making sure my neck chain was out of the way! I did note that the Power button is on the right side, not the left, as shown in the manual’s illustrations!?The remote already has a CR2032 battery installed. They give you a spare in the pack..Pressing the MODE button on the remote, cycles though the 4 modes. The ‘vibrations’ vary between each and I found # 3 gave a more continuous buzz and I liked that one the most. I started with the EMS intensity at the lowest and slowly increased it and had to back off as the signals started to really sting, especially if the gold-colored neck pads were not contacting the skin fully. Increasing the temperature, I could feel the heat..While I didn’t have acute neck pain per se, my neck was aching after perhaps sleeping on it wrong last night. After 15 mins of massage and max. heat, the unit beeped and powered down. My neck did continue to tingle for a few minutes after removing the neck massager.Overall, though, I didn’t feel any improvement. Maybe not effective on my particular ache? I would say the ache is typical of that after straining your neck when working, reading, etc., which is what this is described as relieving. Another 1 Star lost! I will have to wait for perhaps a worse neck pain to see if there is a true benefit from this device. I’ll be back to update the review accordingly..CONCLUSION:.At $160, this is not an easily affordable device. The product design and build are reflective of a higher price. So far, I haven’t experienced a miracle cure, or actually, even mild relief. The TENS technology may work for pain relief in some cases, but there’s little strong clinical evidence. It is more targeted to nerve-related pain, like Fibromyalgia. My wife gets TENS treatment at her physical therapy sessions after her new knee, but says she doesn’t really notice any difference after, just the tingling during. Personally, I prefer a treatment that has noticeable benefits. Ultrasound on an injured knee has the same invisible effect, in my experience!Personally, I suggest you talk with your healthcare professional before buying this kit. It may or may not benefit your situation. If it could, this might be worth buying.I wasn't overly enthused by the Alphay Intelligent Neck Massager. It felt like a TENs unit with heat. The part that bothers me is the placement of the contact points. They are so close to either side of the spine. All I feel is electrical impulses in my spine. It didn't feel good or safe to me. I moved the contact points to the side of my neck and that felt beneficial. More like the EMS unit helping muscle. Applying water is a must or you will get shocks and uncomfortable pricking. The heat is a plus and the extra pads for placement in other areas is nice. I was hoping this had more impact on my muscles rather than my spine so I'm not a big fan. This Alphay Intelligent Neck Massager with Heat, Electric Pulse is nice. You need to make sure you put enough water on your neck or on the pads, or you won't like the shock you get. It is kind of like putting a tens machine on your neck. It feels good and helps to relax a stiff neck. The one negative is the price.
