We bought this primarily to assist in removing the 14-year-old Diamond Shield coating from the front of our Newmar motorhome. But after we were done, my wife now uses it for her clothes, and she loves it. For the motorhome we would use the steam to heat a 6" x 12" section of the Diamond Shield coating for about a minute to soften the adhesive, and then carefully peel the Diamond Shield away. Yeah, it took about 8 hours total, but it worked perfectly with absolutely no damage to the motorhome paint. Saved more than $1,500 that the RV shops quoted. And once we were finished my wife now uses it for her clothes, it's a win-win!First review I have written, but I had to give this little steamer props. I purchased this for my daughter to use in her dorm. After reading some negative reviews, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. First, it is very basic and easy to use. I followed the instructions about not filling past the max fill line and also to not tip the steamer down too far while steaming. When showing my daughter how to use it, I also encouraged her to be patient, steaming carefully and waiting for the wrinkles to steam out. Worked so well! We had no water dripping out of the steamer and the clothes turned out nicely. It is a powerful little thing, so be careful not to get your hands and arms too close to the steam.I thought it was a good size especially for traveling but it takes a while to get clothes wrinkle free if that. Our clothes still had wrinkles at times.Perfect for small storage!It's worked great so far and I love that it's perfect for traveling. I've used it on a dress, traveling to a wedding recently and worked great.I purchased this for a trip, and it worked great!! Powerful little steamer! Perfect to quick do an outfit or two; heats up super fast! I wish I would have bought one years ago.This looks very tiny but it's good for travelI like that it is compact and portable, easier and faster than using an ironSince it is small, it runs out of water fast, but easy to refill.It works great for some fabrics, not so good for others (like linen)I was looking for a small portable streamer that I could take when I have to travel for business, and this one definitely fits the bill. But, there is no fill line, so I’m not sure if I’m over filling it, and when it gets going it often belches water on the garments. Fingers crossed it doesn’t ruin any of my garments or burn me.Tuve un evento y no tenia una plancha, se me ocurrió comprar este producto por las reseñas llegó en un dia! y debo confesar que funciona y muy bien!!! es super pequeño super facil de usar y quita arrugas que es lo mas importante, tarda mucho menos de lo que dice en sacar el vapor, es casi inmediato funciona muy bien, y la puedes llevar a cualquier lugar a cualquier viaje y por el precio creo que vale mucha la pena!I just used this steamer for the first time today, and here are my thoughts:It is the perfect size, small enough that I would bring it with me while travelling, and could probably fit into a carry-on, but decent enough that it doesn't feel flimsy while holding it.It heats up super fast, I read the instructions and they said it took 2 minutes to heat up, so I plugged it in and brushed my teeth and washed my face while I was waiting, and by the time I was finished 5 minutes later half the water was gone. When I filled it up to use it again I timed it at about 45 seconds from when I plugged it in to when I could use it. So wonderful when you only have a bit of time to get those wrinkles out.It is really easy to use, and it worked really well. I used it on a cotton-y type blouse that had a bunch of wrinkles, and it got all the wrinkles out easily. It took me about 5 minutes to get through that blouse, which I feel like is kind of a long time, but that could be because it was my first time using it. It did take a bit more effort to get wrinkles out of the collar and around the buttons. The steam did last for about 10 minutes, which is what the instructions stated, I wish it was longer, but for the size of the water reservoir, and for how fast it heats up, I can get over it.I learned the hard way that you should not tip this while you are using it, even slightly. While I was steaming the sleeves of my blouse I put the steamer sideways and dripped steaming hot water on my arm and foot. This obviously was user error, as I remembered after it happened that the instructions said not to tip it.So all in all, I like this steamer. I don't think it would completely replace ironing for someone who likes everything to be perfectly wrinkle free, but if you don't have a lot of time, or space for an ironing board, this is perfect.This thing is straight garbage! It heats up the water fast and steam comes out, but it at best reduces the appearances of wrinkles, it does not get them out.At times it will even start spitting the water out instead of it just steaming. Now you've got a wet wrinkled shirt. Great for any office environment! Don't waste your time, buy a more expensive unit.Meh is the best way to describe. Works on small wrinkles so you can't say it doesn't work, but definitely doesn't look like your clothes are 'crisp'. Sadly also runs out of water quickly.Pursteam 850watt from amazon.com ships to Canada with a 50buck US charge; have tried that one before and works a lot better. Something to consider, will update my review once I have receive that one.
