These days it's hard to find sunglasses if your a guy with a small face. With most brands trending towards making XL or XXl versions of their sunglasses standard in order to keep up with the huge face coverage trend, only a few companies still make some decent men's sunglasses that don't look absurdly oversized on a dude with a slimmer, smaller face.Electric, thankfully, is one of those brands, and the Knoxville is an exceptionally good pair of small-coverage sunglasses for a reasonable price (mine were 62.00 dollars). I have tried several pairs of small coverage sunglasses: Spy's The Fold and Smith's Lowdown Slim to name a few, and while the Knoxvilles aren't quite as good as the Lowdown's (in my opinion) they easily blow Spy's pitifully poor Folds out of the water. In terms of comfort, they are quite respectable, they lack nose pads (unlike the Lowndowns) but their bridge is well enough designed that the glasses fit well and don't seem in danger of slipping down one's nose. The lenses I received were a bit weird though; given that they were highly reflective (I got pink chrome lenses) I expected them to be good for high brightness conditions. However, they let in a surprising amount of light, and only cut down a little bit on reflections. This isn't necessarily a bad thing; it just means they are better for driving then say, a day at the beach, where light and reflection levels tend to be higher.Due to the lenses on these Electric sunglasses, the Smith's remain my go to shades. However if you are looking for something to cut down on the light just a little bit while fitting comfortably, I highly recommend picking up a pair of these.
