My last one lasted 25 years on my ATV. I had to adapt the throttle lever with a piece of aluminum to epoxy the thumb warmer to. Unit works great, especially with hot grips and handle bar gauntlets. You just have to leave a little slack in the wire so it doesn't kink or stretch too much. Easy to install.
